Naturalis Highlights

The opening of the new Naturalis Biodiversity Centre in Leiden was featured extensively in the national and international press with five stars reviews. The NRC, leading Dutch national paper, described the new Naturalis as “a palace in the tradition of the large acclaimed 19th century natural history museums, an architecture parlante which characterizes the oeuvre of Neutelings Riedijk Architects”. Other highlights include articles in The New York Times, Wallpaper, Dezeen and ArchDaily celebrating the new design made in collaboration with Iris Van Herpen and Tord Boontje as an ode to Nature.
